Strategy Beyond Training

This is a 6 month course intended for those who are creating and leading the conversations on the organization’s DEI strategy. It is offered in a public cohort with other companies, or as an inhouse offering for your team leaders. This course meets once a month over a 6 month period. During this course you will perform a high level cultural audit looking at 15 areas in your company where DEI can be embedded, go through the Powering Inclusive Cultures program to increase your DEI understanding and DEI skills, live panel of DEI professionals, a coaching session, and wraps up with you actually presenting your DEI Strategy.

Powering Inclusive Cultures

This is a three part program that meets once a month for two hours over a three month period. It can be combined with the Spectra assessment which customizes the program for your organization. This robust course allows individuals to define diversity and inclusion for their organization, discuss your personal results in terms of how your beliefs and behavior impact your performance in the workplace. You will also increase awareness of your personal culture lens and how that lens impacts decisions you make about others. This course discusses the business case around DEI, the different types of biases and how they show up in the workplace. Should you take the assessment with this program you will see how your employees view management, culture, policies, practices and procedures. You will develop skills through experiential activities that can be utilized to create an inclusive workplace. Interesting homework assignments are given between modules to augment the learning.

My Co-Workers Say the Darndest Things (unconscious bias and micro-aggressions)

This workshop explores unconscious bias and how it shows up in individuals and in organizations through microaggressions. Participants explore how their worldview and life experiences impact and cultivate their biases and how these biases unintentionally have an harmful effect on co-workers.

What to Do When My Co-Workers Say the Darndest Things (how to be an ally)

This workshop is a great follow-up to My Co-Workers Say the Darndest Things. We examine why we don’t respond to micro aggressions when we see them. Through lecture, case studies and roleplays we create strategies on how to handle micro aggressions.
